Komar Brands team is seeking a dynamic individual with proactive, motivated with excellent organizational skills to join our growing team, and to execute the international transportation operation to support core business.

You are required to work remotely on USA hours and must be flexible with your working hours.

What you need to have:

  • 2 years international transportation experience.
  • Demonstrated Intermediate to advance Excel skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Logistics, or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Understanding the business operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Confirm exceptions pending report and follow up with when necessary.
  • Checking exceptions approval reports and follow up with when necessary.
  • Review daily international bookings for a specific business line and create a strategy to ensure delivery on time at an optimized cost.
  • Present weekly a developed international transportation plan to business owners when required.
  • Create forecasts with business partners to project near-term and long-term freight needs when required.
  • Review and correct data errors for bookings to ensure timely and accurate execution and reporting.
  • Manage CFS report.
  • Follow up with production managers according to OPEN PO report.
  • Coordinate with PM/VP’s regarding shipments and planning when required.
  • Respond to operational issues on behalf of Terri when required.
  • Approve SO’s that have Transportation Tab completed, and it meets the Komar customer criteria.
  • Review SO for accuracy on the Transportation Tab. For example, POL, origin, SO service Type.
  • Review daily Carrier Event Log sent by ACS via email and advise the internal customer of any delays/roll overs/etc.
  • Advise the internal customer of any shipments that have a risk of not making the customer ship window.
  • Review the ACS Dashboard report to be sure all S/J pending approval are either approved that day or a comment is entered in the S/J so as to reason not approving.
