About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as an IT Help Desk & Data Entry Support Officer. This dual-function role combines basic technical support with high-volume data entry and administrative tasks, playing a vital role in supporting candidates throughout their onboarding journey.

Key Responsibilities

Data Entry & Administration
  • Accurately input candidate details and job application data from Seek into our internal system (ClickUp)
  • Maintain up-to-date records of filled shifts, candidate progress, and key communications
  • Assist with reporting by ensuring data accuracy and consistency
  • Perform general administrative tasks as required to support recruitment workflows
Help Desk Support
  • Provide basic first-level technical support to candidates completing online inductions via mobile or tablet
  • Troubleshoot common issues such as login problems, file upload errors, and navigation difficulties
  • Offer friendly, clear guidance to ensure a smooth candidate experience
  • Escalate more complex issues to the appropriate internal team if required

Key Skills & Attributes

  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence in using web-based platforms and mobile applications
  • Patient, approachable, and solution-focused when assisting users
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative, customer service, or help desk role
  • Familiarity with platforms like ClickUp, Seek, or similar ATS/CRM systems is a plus
  • Basic understanding of troubleshooting on mobile and web-based apps
