To ensure their continued growth and success, ABM wishes to recruit a dynamic, pro-active, suitably qualified and experienced individual to join hands with them as;

CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER

Reporting to the Director / CEO, you will be provided an opportunity to make a difference and truly add value to the business and will have overall operational and strategic responsibility for the entire HR functions of the Company.

Contributing towards the overall achievement of Corporate Vision, Mission and Objectives, the incumbent's key tasks will encompass;

  • Implement and develop successful Human Resources Strategies, Policies and Procedures that support the challenges, long term growth and transformation of the organization.
  • Lead the HR function of the organization (HR operations, recruitment, talent development, performance management, employee engagement and industrial relations where you will be required to perform within defined timescales and budgets.) in delivering overall Human Resource Services for the divisions.
  • Ensure the training and development needs of all employees are identified and suitable development interventions are implemented and monitored.
  • Should possess a good knowledge of Labour Laws, excellent communication and inter-personal skills and a pleasing personality to advice, guide and support the HR Team Leads in adopting best HR Practices across the organization; and ensure compliance with present labour legislations.
  • Develop Performance Management and compensation systems and policies.
  • Advise the company on work conditions, actions and strategies as required.

Ideal Candidate Profile;

  • A Graduate from a related discipline with professional qualifications in Human Resource Management.
  • MBA/ Post Graduate Qualification in HRM/IR obtained from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in a large manufacturing environment of which at least 10 years' at a management level.
  • Fully conversant with all aspects of industrial labour laws and familiar with all modern HR & IR Strategies and administration procedures.
  • Strong organisational, analytical and prioritization skills with good level of computer literacy.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of multi-disciplined team management and the ability to interact effectively with other operational units.
  • Be a team player with a positive attitude and the willingness to hold a variety of responsibilities in overall HR & Administration of the Company's day-to-day management functions.
  • Should be a male below 45 years.
