Position:
Laundry Supervisor
Location:
Vilamendhoo Island Resort & Spa, South Ari Atoll, Maldives
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Provide courteous, friendly and professional service to guests at all times
- To provide supervisory guidance and support to all colleagues ensure that they perform their duties effectively
- To ensure all guest laundry is delivered in a timely and professional manner
- To ensure that cleanliness and service standards are maintained in all areas of Laundry.
- Establish duty rosters in accordance with the resort regulations and the demand of the workload
- To ensure that the health and safety company standards are maintained and carried out
- Oversees the maintenance and repair of all laundry equipment
- Prepares monthly linen inventory
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of responsible experience in Laundry operation in a hotel/resort and in a similar position
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills
- Knowledge of technique and skills required for a modern housekeeping operation including knowledge of linen, fabrics and life span
- Knowledge of the use of various laundry chemicals & heavy duty washing machines, extractors, dryers, flat ironers, folders and pressing units
- Fusion HR & Microsoft Offices knowledge
