Executive Housekeeper

We are currently seeking a meticulous and service-oriented Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping operations at our exclusive luxury safari retreat, Chena Huts in Yala.

In this vital leadership role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and aesthetic appeal across the property. Your eye for detail, commitment to excellence, and ability to inspire a dedicated team will ensure every guest enjoys an impeccable and memorable stay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all kitchen operations to ensure exceptional quality, hygiene, and consistency in food production.
  • Curate innovative and appealing menus that reflect the brand’s standards and resonate with our diverse clientele.
  • Monitor and manage kitchen budgets, food costing, and inventory control.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled culinary team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain impeccable kitchen standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 05 years of proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a luxury resort or boutique hotel.
  • Qualification in Fine Culinary Arts from a recognized institute.
  • Extensive knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques and flavor profiles.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the highest quality in food preparation, plating, and presentation.
  • In-depth knowledge of costing, menu planning, and menu creation.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective teamwork and collaboration.
  • The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
