Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project teams to manage procurement activities, including raising RFQs for materials, maintaining payment trackers, and coordinating with procurement and finance teams.
  • Prepare cost breakdowns, tenders, and BOGs that align with project drawings and contractual requirements. Conduct thorough pre-costing analysis for accurate budget estimations, ensuring alignment with design and engineering teams.
  • Handle IPA, variation submissions, rate breakdowns, and cost proposals. Work closely with subcontractors for joint measurements, manage interim claims, and track price fluctuations.
  • Oversee subcontractor payments, ensuring accuracy in previous payments, deductions, and the creation of IPCs.
  • Attend site visits and project reviews, working with design and engineering teams to negotiate additional work and ensure project costs are tracked and controlled effectively.

Personal Profile & Skills

  • B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying/IQSSL/HND/ NCT QS or UGC-recognised Qualification.
  • Around 2 to 3 years of experience in total Civil Projects, Furniture, Flooring, Ceiling, and MEP.
  • Thorough knowledge of BOG preparation, cost estimation and tendering process.
  • Sound knowledge of AutoCAD and other quantity surveying related software.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and other software in Office package.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills while having attention to detail in all aspects of work.
