NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks.
- Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, proxy servers, windows servers, and other network equipment.
- Involving procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation.
- Maximising network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain network documentation and diagram.
- Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases.
- Responsible for maintaining and coordinating the testing of disaster recovery plans.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Cisco CCNA or CCNP certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and network management platforms.
- Knowledge in Windows server OS, Linux server OS, Active Directory, AV management and cPanel and Configuring SSL Wildcards.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VPN, VLANS, and MPLS.
- Knowledge of WordPress and SASE firewall technologies will be considered an added advantage.
