POST OF FACTORY ACCOUNTANT
Darley Butler & Co. Ltd markets some of the most popular FMCG brands in the Sri Lankan Market. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as Factory Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated sales force and play a pivotal role in our growth.
Job Responsibilities in brief:
- Manufacturing cost accounting – Analysis of variances, follow up and related reporting.
- Stock management – Raw materials, WIC and Finished goods.
- Management Information – preparation & reporting of financial data related to Manufacturing operation.
- Managing Factory fixed assets
- Planned site visits and submission of weekly reports.
- Plat-wise petty management
- Liaise with Internal Audit Department for matters related to factory audits and make necessary clarifications on findings and act on corrective actions.
- Submit invoices on local purchase to H/O for payments.
- Reconcile cash advances and advance payments to suppliers etc.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Part qualifications from a recognized Accounting Body
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar or comparable capacity
- Should be able to independently handle job scope above with minimum supervision.
- Excellent written and oral communication in English.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products. Prior working experience in SAP would be an added advantage.

Below 35 Years. The selected applicant will be based at one of the plants at Ekala.
