The Job:
- We are looking for a passionate and experienced designer to join us as Assistant Manager – Design in the Intimate Cluster.
- In this role, you will lead the design process from concept to execution, driving innovation and working with cross-functional teams to create trend-driven, commercially viable intimate apparel.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design process for intimate wear collections.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align designs with trends, customer needs, and production feasibility.
- Create and present seasonal concepts, color palettes, and technical designs.
- Ensure timely delivery of design projects with a proactive approach.
- Mentor junior designers and support creative development within the team.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to drive innovation.
- Review prototypes and recommend improvements in fit, comfort, and aesthetics.
Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma in Fashion or Textile Design.
- 5+ years’ experience in apparel design, with 2+ years in a leadership role; intimate apparel preferred.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and production processes.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools.
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
