1. Senior Merchandiser
Location - Rajagiriya
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end merchandising operations, ensuring seamless transition from product development to bulk production with a strong focus on costing, pricing strategies and order management
- Provide strategic oversight by monitoring and optimizing production timelines, supplier coordination and cost efficiency
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and drive operational excellence
- Manage multiple priorities effectively, demonstrating strong decision-making skills, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to meet critical deadlines
- Perform under high-pressure environments with agility and a solution-oriented mindset while taking ownership of key business functions
- Take initiatives driving continuous improvement, adopting industry best practices and leading additional strategic responsibilities in alignment with business objectives
Person Specifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business Administration, Apparel, or a related field is required.
- Minimum 04 years of experience in apparel manufacturing or merchandising, with leadership responsibilities
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills to improve efficiency and manage risks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to support business relationships.
- Ability to lead projects independently, handle complex challenges and drive innovation.
2. Junior Merchandiser
Location - Kandy
Key Responsibilities
- Thorough knowledge in costing and ability to manage development to bulk orders independently and efficiently
- Maintain timely status reports on all relevant orders
- Liaise with internal and external cross-functional teams and cost-effectively manage all designated responsibilities
- Ability to multi-task, work independently under minimum supervision, follow through on commitments, and meet assigned deadlines
- Proactively handle additional duties as required, in line with the role’s responsibilities.
- Conduct Research and Development within the department and externally to align with the Management requirements
- Manage and guide the business processes and relevant KPIs
Person Specifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business Administration, Apparel, or a related field is required
- Minimum 01 year of relevant work experience in an Apparel manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think proactively, assertively, and strategically
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
