Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service.
  • Manage staff schedules, training, and performance.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
  • Monitor food quality, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
  • Prepare sales reports and support budgeting and financial planning.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen, front-of-house staff, and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of restaurant management software is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English (Sinhala and/or Tamil is an added benefit).
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as needed.
