Vacancy - Sales Manager - Inbound

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join our sales team, specializing in handling inbound travel. The Sales Manager role is a key position within the company, playing a critical part in driving growth and maintaining excellence in service delivery. Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • You will report directly to the Managing Director of the company.
  • Manage and lead a team to achieve departmental and company-wide objectives.
  • Plan sales targets and implement strategic initiatives to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
  • Coordinate with heads of departments to identify challenges, develop solutions, and drive operational efficiency.
  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience in the inbound travel industry, ideally in a similar role.
  • Proven expertise in handling key markets including Europe, the UK, Scandinavia, Australia, and New Zealand.
  • Strong background in planning, executing, and managing customized travel itineraries.
  • Good knowledge and experience in proposing and handling the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) segment.
  • Excellent knowledge of market-specific hotel rates and a well-established supplier network.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential; proficiency in additional languages is a significant advantage.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication and leadership skills, and a proactive, results-driven attitude.
  • Thorough understanding of Sri Lanka as a travel destination is highly desirable.
  • A genuine passion for travel and willingness to participate in international sales missions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
