Quality Assurance Manager
Navik Mills (Pvt) Ltd is a well reputed, large scale coconut kernel based food and beverage manufacturers and exporters incorporated in 2019 at Pallama, Chilaw. Due to rapid growth and expansion of the company, we are seeking an energetic professional to join the company.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer needs & requirements to develop effective quality control processes.
- Quality checking of products at the production floor & documentation.
- Handling customer complaints until their satisfaction.
- Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards.
- Training & managing production line staff in production practices & quality assessments of goods.
- Implementing & maintaining GMP & Food Safety Standards.
- Prepare external / Internal Quality Audit schedule & process the approvals.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science & Technology, Bio Science or Microbiology & professional qualifications in quality management from a recognized university or institute is mandatory.
- Knowledge in ISO standard/ BRC/ FSSC/ HACCP/ GMP/ BRC / Organic certifications.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the relevant field (Food Manufacturing Sector).
- Excellent communication & written skills.
- Age below 45 years.
