Marine Sales Engineer
JOB PROFILE
- Promote and sell marine propulsion engines, marine generators, outboard motors, and related auxiliary systems.
- Provide technical consultation and product guidance to clients.
- Track and manage sales, inventory, and installation schedules.
- Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.
- Generate and present sales and performance reports.
- Support training programs and contribute to product and service improvement initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and contractors.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering.
- Previous experience in sales or marketing of marine products is highly preferred.
- Full or part qualifications in Marketing (e.g: CIM or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel and work across both the Sri Lankan and Maldivian markets.
- Ability to understand technical product features and translate them into customer benefits.
- Good command of English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting tools.
