FINANCE EXECUTIVE (TEMPORARY)
Population Services Lanka is a registered NGO based in Nawala providing choices in family planning.
We have a temporary job role for 6 months to 1 year with the possibility of extension depending on the direction of the company.
Role description:
- Prepare payment vouchers, draw cheques, maintain cheque register, import ledger entries and post to the accounting system
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Handle petty cash
- Receive payments and issue receipts
- Deposit cash and cheques on time
- Perform additional work assigned by the management in line with the competencies to meet business requirements
Job requirements:
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in MS Office packages and accounting software
- A financial degree, professional qualification or diploma is accepted such as AAT, CIMA etc.
- Previous work experience between 1-2 years or more.
Work hours
8.30am – 4.30 pm (Mon-Fri)
Office is closed on SAT/SUN and mercantile holidays.
