MECHANIC
Location – Nalanda
We are looking for a dedicated and committed individual who is willing to take the challenge. The ideal candidate should possess the following.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on sewing machines, cutting machines, and other production equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all machinery is in compliance with safety standards.
- Set up and calibrate machines according to production specifications for different types of pants.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure quality and consistency in the production process.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for machine maintenance and repairs.
Individual Profile
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a mechanic in the apparel industry, with a focus on pant production.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
