Job Vacancies at Salubrious Resort – Anuradhapura

Salubrious Resort is a well-established tourist hotel located in the historic city of Anuradhapura. Our resort offers 15 luxury rooms, a swimming pool, and a restaurant catering exclusively to in-house guests. We are looking for passionate, skilled, and dedicated individuals to join our team for the following positions:

Position: Tourist Hotel Manager

  • Age below 45 years
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar range hotel in Sri Lanka.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and overall management skills
  • Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or related field from a recognized university or hotel school

Tourist Hotel Manager – Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, restaurant, and guest services.
  • Ensure high guest satisfaction through excellent customer service and problem-solving.
  • Supervise and motivate staff, ensuring a positive and professional work environment.
  • Ability to recruit subordinate staff.
  • Coordinate bookings and room management to optimize occupancy.
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and cost control effectively.
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to maintain smooth hotel operations.
  • Plan and implement marketing strategies to attract local and foreign guests.
  • Report directly to the owner with regular updates on hotel performance.

Position: Cook

  • Age below 35 years.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar range hotel in Sri Lanka.
  • Ability to prepare Sri Lankan and Continental dishes (Local and Foreign meals).

Cook – Responsibilities:

  • Prepare daily meals (Sri Lankan and continental) for in-house guests.
  • Ensure food is served fresh, hygienic, and on time.
  • Manage the kitchen stock and communicate needs for ingredients and supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area.
  • Follow food safety regulations and proper storage practices.
  • Assist in planning menus based on guest preferences and local ingredients.
  • Coordinate with service staff to ensure timely meal service.
