DIGITAL PRINTING SALES OFFICER (KANDY)

Wijeya Newspapers Limited, the well-known publisher of over 13 daily, weekly, and monthly publications, including the highest-circulation newspaper in the country, has significantly extended its business operations since its start. We built a cutting-edge factory in Hokandara, a cable television channel, the REACH public transit service, and digital services. As a result, we are now looking for energetic and passionate people to fill the following positions.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a motivated Digital Printing Sales Officer to generate new leads, build strong client relationships, and increase revenue by selling our digital printing products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales techniques, customer service, and preferably experience in the printing or related industry.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Printing Technology, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications in Sales or Marketing would be an added advantage.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, preferably in printing, advertising, or B2B services.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with digital printing processes and products is a plus.
  • Computer literacy with knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Sinhala.
  • Remuneration will be attractive & negotiable.
  • Below 35 years.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and approach potential clients through cold calls, visits, and online platforms.
  • Promote and sell digital printing services such as brochures, business cards, banners, and customized products.
  • Understand client requirements and offer customized printing solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure customer specifications are met on time.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
