WE ARE HIRING!
ELECTRICIAN
NVQ L-3 qualified, 1-2-year experience. The selected candidate should be able to:
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures (single and 3-phase LV systems) using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints with familiarity with symbols and annotations used in the industry.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, LV transformers, or other components.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with standards.
- Report to immediate superior on possible electrical related hazardous conditions.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
- Plan installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and standards.
- Maintaining good knowledge of heating and air conditioning system.
- Adhere to national standards and regulations.
- Adhere to occupational health, safety and environmental standards.
- Experience in operation of Diesel Electric Generator, ATS, Motor drivers, PLC, VFD would definitely be an added advantage.
