Scope of the Role
This role includes planning, organizing and communicating all requested industrial-related trials of i2i and effectively utilization of the available resources to meet agreed organization demanding performance within agreed timescales in a way that the business unit can contribute additional value to SCCL.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring a safe working environment and compliance of OH&S rules and regulations of the team & personnel.
- Positioning i2i customer service & VAS as the premium cement and concrete solution provider in the Sri Lankan construction industry.
- Promoting blended cement among all stakeholders in the B2B industry.
- Providing planned value-added service (VAS) to B2B customers.
- Communicating new business opportunities through value creation & providing technical solutions to capture new projects or customers.
- Developing the capability of technical staff through coaching/ mentoring.
- Organizing the INSEE i2i knowledge-sharing sessions and other technical events required with Key stakeholders, Universities & IESL.
Requirements
- B.Sc. Engineering Degree in Civil or Material.
- 1+ years of experience in quality controlling of concrete/ construction materials/ quality related research and laboratory experience or Ready-Mix construction-related experience.
- Knowledge in concrete technology and quality control in construction materials.
- Skilled in concrete testing & concrete design optimization.
- Associate member of IESL will be an added advantage.
