MACHINERY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

The leading trend setting and successful business house is expanding its business into diversified areas and we are looking for a Factory Machinery Maintenance Technician with hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing woodworking machinery.
Job Role
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of woodworking machines including:
- Panel saws
- CNC machines
- Edge banders
- Side boring machines
- Knockdown and hinge drilling equipment
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently and reliably.
- Quickly respond to breakdowns and implement effective solutions to reduce production delays.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, checklists, and service records.
- Coordinate with production teams to schedule machine servicing without disrupting operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and internal maintenance protocols.
- Provide technical support during machinery installations, upgrades, and relocations.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience working with woodworking machinery in a manufacturing or factory setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and control systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail with a strong focus on safety and quality.
- Minimum qualification: NVQ Level in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory with sufficient experience).
