CNC FURNITURE DESIGNER / DRAUGHTSMAN

The leading trend setting and successful business house is expanding its business into diversified areas, and we are looking for skilled and detail-oriented CNC Furniture Designer / Draughtsman to join our design team.
Job Role
- Design modular and flat-pack panel furniture using SketchUp, ensuring accuracy and practicality.
- Prepare detailed CNC-compatible drawings, cutting layouts, and technical specifications for production.
- Translate design concepts into clear, production-ready drawings aligned with factory capabilities.
- Optimize material usage through efficient nesting and cutting patterns.
- Make necessary design adjustments based on feedback from the production floor or customer requirements.
- Maintain organized digital records of all drawings and design files.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD.
- Experience in CNC file creation and understanding of machine requirements.
- Knowledge of modular panel furniture design and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements accurately.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role (preferred).
