TECHNICAL OFFICER - WESTERN REGION
The Job
- Attend and rectify all BSS, Transmission and Power related breakdowns in the depot area
- Maintain frequent communication with NOC (Power / Network Ops / Transmission Ops/ IP Ops) to get update on break down / critical alarm incident
- Ensure availability/contactable on 24x7 hours service for urgent maintenance requirements
- Ensure preventive actions taken place in a well-organized manner to avoid service impacts at any level
- Ensure routine activities takes place according to the agreed quality and time while updating relevant documents
- Responsible to attend for development works on time, and update Project Manager if there are any variations of schedule
- Attend for UAT/Commissioning of sites along with vendor prior to site handover for operation
- Maintain progress updates of projects and periodically present to the management
- Responsible to Identify areas for improvement / cost reductions opportunities at all times
- Responsible to maintain latest site details and availability of information on time
- Accountable for resources attached to depot including vehicle/ rigger/ tools and equipment & ensure optimum usage

The Person
- NVQ / IVQ Level 5 qualification specialized in Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronics or
- NDES/ HNDE / NDT specialized in Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronics/ Diploma in Technology (OUSL) / Advanced Diploma in Telecommunication Technology
- Excellent interpersonal skills
