SENIOR EXECUTIVE BANKING OPERATIONS
The Job
- Execute and oversee daily banking operations, ensuring the accurate processing of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and fund transfers.
- Manage customer account maintenance, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and internal policies while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive records and reports related to banking operations, providing regular updates to management on performance metrics and operational efficiency.
- Assist in the testing and implementation of new banking products and systems, contributing to projects aimed at automating processes and improving service delivery.
- Implement and monitor compliance frameworks aligned with Central Bank regulations.
- Identify operational risks and recommend measures to mitigate them.
The Person
- Possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Banking Operations.
- Completed academic / professional qualification in Banking (degree / IABF / DABF) or any other related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in banking regulations and risk management principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
- Proficiency in core banking systems and software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exposure to process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, would be a definite plus.
