Senior Manager - Audit, Control and Finance Transformation - Americas Region
Location: Remote (EST time zone preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee audit, compliance, risk management, and governance programmes across the Americas, ensuring alignment with global standards
- Lead internal audits (including J-SOX), manage control evaluations, and deliver timely, high-quality reports
- Strengthen internal controls through process documentation, risk assessments, and corrective action planning
- Act as liaison with internal and external auditors, including corporate teams in Japan
- Drive finance transformation initiatives across OTC, RTR, and PTP, aligning policy, process, and systems with strategic goals
- Lead cross-functional projects to improve efficiency, reporting, and data integrity
- Manage stakeholder engagement and change across finance, business, and tech teams
- Deliver long- and short-term operational improvements through process and technology enhancements
Candidate Requirements:
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA) with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a technology-related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting/audit, ideally with Big 4 background
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and the COSO framework
- Experience in finance transformation, particularly in OTC, PTP, RTR; GBS/Shared Services experience is a plus
- Strong business judgment and ability to escalate issues appropriately
- Excellent analytical, investigative, and critical thinking skills
- Project and time management expertise with the ability to balance multiple initiatives
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex matters clearly
- Effective coaching and mentoring skills
- Self-driven, independent thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to travel based on visa eligibility
