WE SEEK A SENIOR FINANCE EXECUTIVE FOR THE KANDY REGION
Senhora Group of Companies is a top-performing conglomerate in Sri Lanka’s tea industry with an annual turnover of Rs. 15 billion, standing as the second-largest tea producer in the country.
The group consists of five tea factories in Kandy and Balangoda working with over 15,000 tea farmers, successfully expanded into the leisure and renewable energy sectors with a total workforce of 5000+ employees.
We seek a dynamic, experienced, and qualified individual to join our team as a Senior Finance Executive to oversee the finance operations in the Kandy Region.
POSITION: SENIOR FINANCE EXECUTIVE
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
- Highlight financial and operational risks areas to management.
- Initiate necessary improvements in financial reporting.
- Manage and accurate month-end financial reporting.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management.
- Support the budgeting process and assist in forecasting.
- Provide financial insights and reports on KPIs and performance indicators.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and facilitate audits.
- Perform strategic financial analysis and advise senior management.
- Collaborate with factory accountants and cross-functional teams to drive financial discipline and efficiency.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Age below 50 with high levels of honesty and integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Management from a recognized Government university.
- Fully qualified in Sri Lanka.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in finance, including 5 years in a senior managerial role within a reputed organization.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to multitask, manage tax-related functions, and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel and work at tea factories in the Kandy region.
- Preference will be given to candidates residing near the Kandy area.
