Lanka Shipping & Logistics (Pvt) Ltd is a company of wide expertise and international reputation and our team comprises of energetic and experienced professionals with varying expertise in the industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our finance team as an Executive.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
- Manage daily finance activities & prepare weekly and monthly financial reports
- Reconcile key balance sheet items
- Assist with statutory audits and ensure adherence to all financial regulations
- Preparation of weekly bank reconciliations
- Uploading SVAT Schedule to RAMIS & Writing of SVAT Vouchers & attending to queries
- Preparing of VAT Return working & filing and uploading of VAT Returns to RAMIS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Part or passed finalist (ACCA, CIMA, CMA or CA Sri Lanka) preferred
- 3-4 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the Shipping, Logistics, or Freight Forwarding industry
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, advanced Microsoft Excel, word and power point skills are essential
