Engineer/Quantity Surveyor – Cost controlling and monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Budgeting & Cost Planning: Develop and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow projections.
- Cost Monitoring & Control: Track actual costs against budgets, identify variances, and ensure compliance.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare periodic cost reports, dashboards, and performance analyses (EVA, KPIs).
- Change Management: Evaluate variations and change requests, assessing their impact on budgets and timelines.
- Coordination: Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, Finance, and Site teams to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
- Risk Analysis: Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to enhancing cost tracking tools and reporting frameworks.
Candidate Profile:
- Education: B.Sc in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in cost control, budgeting, or a related field (MEP experience preferred).
Skills:
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel.
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
- Excellent communication in English.
- Familiarity with cost monitoring systems and earned value analysis.
