Engineer/Quantity Surveyor – Cost controlling and monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting & Cost Planning: Develop and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow projections.
  • Cost Monitoring & Control: Track actual costs against budgets, identify variances, and ensure compliance.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare periodic cost reports, dashboards, and performance analyses (EVA, KPIs).
  • Change Management: Evaluate variations and change requests, assessing their impact on budgets and timelines.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, Finance, and Site teams to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
  • Risk Analysis: Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to enhancing cost tracking tools and reporting frameworks.

Candidate Profile:

  • Education: B.Sc in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in cost control, budgeting, or a related field (MEP experience preferred).

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel.
  • Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
  • Excellent communication in English.
  • Familiarity with cost monitoring systems and earned value analysis.
