ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a passionate and independent Senior HR Executive to lead people strategy across our growing business units. The ideal candidate will bring experience in manufacturing HR operations, compliance and employee engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- 8-10 years of HR experience in manufacturing or food processing
- Proficient in HR processes, HRIS (Odoo), payroll, and MS Office
- Fluent in English and Sinhala (written and verbal)
- Strong multitasking, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- High standards of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruitment, onboarding, performance and engagement
- Prepare reports and dashboards to support data-driven decisions
- Advise management on HR strategy and organisational growth
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies
- Lead engagement initiatives and strengthen company culture
- Maintain leave and attendance records via HRIS
- Oversee evaluations and support ongoing employee development
- Foster a positive work culture and handle employee matters with care
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role is primarily based at the Wennappuwa Factory with travel to Colombo and Ahangama as needed. Reporting directly to the CEO/Board of Directors, the selected candidate will receive an attractive remuneration package.
