THEATRE TECHNICIAN (MALE)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare operating theatres and assist in surgical procedures.
  • Maintain sterility and ensure proper functioning of surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Assist in patient positioning and transportation before and after surgery.
  • Support the surgical team by anticipating needs and ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and infection control standards.
  • Perform daily checks of the theatre equipment and ensure timely reporting of faults or damages.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Successfully completed a recognized certificate or diploma in Theatre Technology / Operating Theatre Techniques from a reputed institution.
  • A minimum of 1–2 years of hands-on experience as a Theatre Technician in a hospital or surgical center.
  • Thorough knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization techniques, and theatre protocols.
  • Ability to support surgeons and nursing staff during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative procedures.
  • Familiarity with infection control practices and occupational safety guidelines.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
  • Good communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.

THEATRE TECHNICIAN TRAINEE (MALE)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with setting up and maintaining the operating theatre.
  • Sterilize and prepare surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Ensure theatre cleanliness and adherence to infection control protocols.
  • Safely transport patients before and after surgical operations.
  • Assist medical and nursing staff during surgical operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records related to theatre usage.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • C.E.E O/L qualification (minimum).
  • Physically fit and able to work in a high-demand environment.
  • Willingness to learn and undergo in-house training.
  • Basic communication skills and team spirit.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends.
  • Minimum height: 5'5".
