ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER - FOOD INDUSTRY

NEOCHEM GROUP, A LEADING PROVIDER OF INGREDIENT SOLUTIONS TO SRI LANKA'S FOOD MANUFACTURING SECTOR, IS LOOKING FOR A DYNAMIC AND RESULTS-DRIVEN ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER TO JOIN OUR EXPANDING FOOD DIVISION.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow key accounts in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
  • Identify customer needs and offer tailored technical solutions.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and support.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to management.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A degree or diploma in Food Science, Agriculture, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of sales experience in the food ingredients or B2B sector.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive attitude with strong business acumen.
  • Familiarity with food manufacturing trends and applications.
