A Company belonging to the Jaysons Holdings Group of Companies is seeking to recruit highly efficient and dedicated individuals as part of their finance department.
We invite applications from candidates who will be able to be based in Mt. Lavinia.
ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the General Ledger, financial records, and supporting documentation with accuracy and integrity.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and other management reports.
- Process payments and receipts efficiently, manage bank records, and prepare bank reconciliations.
- Handle petty cash transactions and related administrative tasks.
- Ensure financial security by adhering to internal controls and established protocols.
- Comply with all statutory documentation and facilitate timely payments.
- Arrange supplier payments, verifying against Goods Received Notes (GRN), Purchase Orders (PO), Invoices, and Deposits.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with all internal departments.
- Organize and maintain documents, files, and records in a systematic manner.
- Provide assistance in the procurement process as required.
- Undertake visits to banks and government institutions as necessary.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- CIMA / ICASL / degree in a Local University- relevant part qualification in Accounting.
- Proficient in accounting software (QB) and MS Word, Excel.
- Minimum 2-3 years working experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in property management / hospitality or manufacturing industry is considered an added advantage.
- Excellent reporting and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and be deadline oriented.
- Honest, reliable team worker.
- Close proximities to Dehiwala-Mt. Lavinia are encouraged to apply.
