CHIEF NURSING OFFICER
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the nursing department with strategic and clinical oversight.
- Establish and uphold high standards of nursing care and patient safety.
- Guide and mentor nursing teams while ensuring compliance with hospital policies and national healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and hospital leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing); MSc in Nursing or MBA in Healthcare is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of nursing experience, including 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must be registered with the Sri Lanka Nursing Council (SLNC).
INFECTION CONTROL NURSE
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor hospital-wide infection prevention and control (IPC) measures.
- Educate staff on IPC best practices and conduct regular audits and training.
- Investigate infection outbreaks and ensure compliance with local and international IPC standards.
- Support a culture of safety and infection risk reduction across departments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Specialized training or certification in Infection Control is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be registered with the Sri Lanka Nursing Council (SLNC).
