MANAGER - PROPERTY UNDERWRITING
Are you passionate about driving profitable property underwriting while supporting business growth?
Fairfirst invites you to become part of our dynamic team as Manager – Property Underwriting, where you will play a pivotal role in managing risk and ensuring the continued success of our property portfolio.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Profit-Focused Underwriter: You drive the profitable underwriting of our property portfolio, supporting both business retention and growth objectives.
- Sales Collaborator: You work closely with the sales team to help achieve their property sales goals.
- Strategic Planner: You identify profitable classes and design strategies to maximise business potential.
- Market Analyst: You monitor market trends and recommend effective pricing strategies.
- Reinsurance Specialist: You actively contribute to facultative placements, treaty arrangements, and risk survey activities.
- Process Guardian: You oversee underwriting processes, risk acceptance, technical audits, and control frameworks within commercial lines underwriting.
WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT:
- Strong knowledge of underwriting for property and liability insurance classes.
- Well-versed in policy conditions and legal frameworks related to insurance claims.
- Skilled in financial and business modelling and forecasting.
WHAT DO YOU NEED:
- ACII, FCII, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a similar managerial capacity within a recognised organisation.
