Training Executive

Industry: Financial Services

Location: Colombo

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver monthly induction training for new hires in a classroom setting.
  • Conduct soft skills training on topics such as Time Management, Business Communication, Presentation Skills, and Effective Meetings.
  • Facilitate virtual “Lunch and Learn” sessions on a weekly basis.
  • Evaluate training sessions and suggest improvements where needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to design or update training materials.
  • Send training invitations, reminders, and follow-ups to participants.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and feedback logs in SharePoint.
  • Prepare and distribute training evaluation reports and summaries.
  • Work with global HR and IT teams to support new course development.
  • Attend Train the Trainer sessions and stay updated with current content.

Requirements

  • Strong command of written and spoken English for business communication.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience delivering training in a corporate setting.
  • Experience with both in-person and virtual training delivery.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented with good time management.
  • Familiar with MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Knowledge of the full training cycle (planning, delivery, feedback) is a plus.
  • Comfortable working with remote teams and across cultures.
