Sands Active (Pvt) Limited is (a subsidiary of Melwa Group) a BOI approved state of the art Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company by partnering with the State Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Corporation Sri Lanka with the intention to fulfill local pharmaceutical related demand.
ASST. MANAGER – WAREHOUSE
Duties and responsibilities
- Manage the functions of warehouse department with continuous support and cooperation as per cGMP norms in accordance with regulatory and statutory compliances.
- Overall supervising, guidance for issuance & dispensing of Raw materials, Excipient, Packing Material and other items as per process order and follow the procedures while issuing & dispensing materials.
- Ensure the availability of materials and checking the required materials to meet production plan.
- Coordinate final delivery of finished products with other related parties (External or Internal).
- Ensure that all receipts, invoices, dispatches, of raw materials, packing materials, finished products & other transactions are entered into the Bin card & ERP system as per procedure.
- Prepare new SOPs and revise current SOPs when it deems necessary to ensure cGMP compliance associated with warehouse operation.
- Train all warehouse personnel as per SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with all SOPs, cGMP, safety, housekeeping, health standards & security.
- Coordination and planning with all respective departments to achieve company objective.
- Ensure effective utilization of warehouse manpower & equipment.
- Handling of material destruction process and coordination with respective parties.
- Handling of stock counting as per management requirements.
- Ensure good house-keeping practices in Warehouse.
- Minimize the goods handling damages and avoid unnecessary overheads.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or similar qualification in Supply Chain / Stores Management from a recognized institute.
- 07 years’ warehouse experience from a reputable pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Sri Lanka.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
SENIOR EXECUTIVE – WAREHOUSE
Duties and responsibilities
- Issuance & dispensing of Raw materials, Excipient, Packing Material and other items as per process order and follow the procedures while issuing & dispensing materials.
- Check the availability of materials and checking the required materials to meet production plan.
- Coordinate final delivery of finished products with other related parties (External or Internal).
- Check all receipts, invoices, dispatches, of raw materials, packing materials, finished products & other transactions are entered into the Bin card & ERP system as per procedure.
- Confirm all the consignments are received with proper documents.
- Ensure compliance with all SOPs, cGMP, safety, housekeeping, health standards & security.
- Handling of stock counting as per management requirements.
- Ensure good house-keeping practices in Warehouse.
- Minimize the goods handling damages and avoid unnecessary overheads.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or similar qualification in Supply Chain / Stores Management from a recognized institute.
- 03 years’ warehouse experience in a reputable pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Sri Lanka.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
