Key Responsibilities
- QA/QC Engineer:
- Carrying out testing on concrete and raw material, compiling test reports.
- Analyze test results and maintain accurate records of all inspections and tests.
- Preparing mix designs and conducting trial mixes.
- Coordinate on Mix submittal in accordance with the Project specification.
- Identify opportunities for the development of Value-added products (VAP).
- Review the Customer’s complaints and propose technical solutions.
- Identify non-conformances and implement corrective actions to address any issues related to product quality.
- Overseeing the laboratory and managing the technicians.
- Establishing laboratory facilities & practices to fulfill test requirements & train laboratory technician to meet project quality plan.
- Other ad hoc assignments as assigned.
- Engineer:
- Assist QA/QC Department in regular in-house testing to monitor concrete raw materials and product performance.
- Assist in all measures related to product quality control.
- Liaise with customers to ensure deliveries are arranged accurately and production targets are met.
- Perform quality control work at both batching plants and on-site.
- Ensure the quality of concrete and educate staff and drivers on the importance of good quality control for concrete.
- Other ad hoc assignments as assigned.
Candidate Profile
- QA/QC Engineer:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Engineering/Chemical Engineering / Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Concrete & Cement Quality Control.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using QA/QC software and tools.
- Engineer:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Material Science / Chemistry, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a civil Engineer.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Able to work independently with a positive attitude to deliver within tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
