Job Description
Job Profile:
- Assist in maintaining the enterprise-wide information security governance framework
- Ensure documentation and communication of security governance processes
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating information security policies, standards, and procedures
- Support the consistent application of these policies across business units
- Conduct risk assessments to identify and document potential vulnerabilities
- Support the implementation and tracking of risk mitigation plans
- Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI DSS)
- Assist in preparing for internal and external audits
- Work with IT and business units to embed governance into daily operations
- Act as a point of contact for compliance-related queries and issues
- Assist in implementing and maintaining incident response governance frameworks
- Support readiness and adherence to incident reporting and management processes
- Delivering information security awareness programs and providing guidance to staff on information security policies and best practices
Candidate Prerequisites:
- A degree in IT from a recognized institute or a professional qualification related to information security
- Possession of certification/s such as ISO27001, PCIDSS-related certifications, CEH, CCNA, CISSP, CRISC, and CSX, or Microsoft Certifications, is preferred
- A minimum of 3 - 4 years of experience in an Information Security environment or IS audit
- Hands-on experience with information security tools and technologies, including DLP and SIEM
- Extensive knowledge and skills in cybersecurity and risk management principles
- Familiarity with banking-related information security functions
- Experience in policy drafting/review and conducting risk assessments
- Skills in analyzing Information Security incidents and recommending improvements
- Experience in supporting security awareness programs
