Tourism Executive

- Position: Tourism Executive

Responsibilities
- As a member of a team of Executives, assist the Department Head in processes to achieve department revenue, quality and financial goals set by the Company.
- Engage in direct communication with overseas distributors, local providers and internal teams to put together efficient end-to-end operational requirements designed to provide customers with a well-executed travel program on holiday.
- Ability to calculate tour packages and craft tour program proposals.
- Assist in the generation of department reports to identify performance KPI’s.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 Years of inbound tourism industry experience in ground services operations in a Destination Management Company.
- Good command of written and spoken English language; any other foreign language skill although not necessary will be considered as added value.
- Pleasant personality to interact with members on the Team, Support-Services Departments and External Providers and Distributors.
- Ability to think independently on problem-solving needs.
- Technical ease to handle Microsoft Office platforms and tools especially on Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook. Other software knowledge will be added value.
- Age preferably below 30 years, however can be considered if skills required are in place.
- Be a resident of Colombo or suburbs.
- Be adaptive to working irregular hours if the work related demand requires it.
