TENDERING EXECUTIVE
OUR CLIENT
A reputed company based in Malabe, engaged in the manufacture of medical and laboratory equipment and the provision of diagnostic testing services. Established in 2010, the company serves both government and private sectors and is now expanding its operations. We are currently hiring a Tendering Executive to support our growing client base.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and monitor relevant government and private sector tenders in the scientific and laboratory equipment domain.
- Analyze tender documents, prepare compliance checklists, and coordinate with internal departments to compile all necessary documentation.
- Prepare technical and financial proposals in response to tenders, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with company objectives.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for quotation requests and technical documents.
- Maintain and update tender logs and ensure timely submission of bids.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and tender requirements including pre-qualifications and registrations.
- Follow up on submitted tenders and support in contract finalization when awarded.
- Prepare post-bid documentation and assist in handover to the sales and service team.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Science or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in tendering, preferably in the scientific or medical equipment industry.
- Familiarity with e-GP (Electronic Government Procurement) systems in Sri Lanka is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Sinhala/Tamil.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Understanding of laboratory equipment, reagents, or instrumentation.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
