MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
We have been in banquet operation for over 20 years, with a capacity of over 1000 seating and modern rooms, coffee shops, and specialty restaurants served by international cuisines.
JOB BRIEF
- Manage all aspects of maintenance staff on a daily basis
- Direct, coordinates and performs routine, preventive repairs and maintenance to achieve
- Directs the engineering staff, budgeting, inventory control and asset protection
- Maximize maintenance team performance to meet guests, employees and owners satisfaction in prompt, professional and courteous manner
- Planning, scheduling, prioritizing maintenance and repairs, supervising and assigning
- Coordinates with suppliers for services, spares, repairs and AMCs
- Maintenance of all M&E and ELV equipment and systems to the standard code
- Proper record keeping relates to all plant and machinery including repairs and services.
- Provide training to staff on maintenance procedures, Fire Life safety, cleanliness and Energy conservation.
- Preparing of periodic and special reports as required by the management
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree or diploma in mechanical / Electrical / Industrial engineering from a recognized university or institute
- Advance knowledge and experience in MVAC would be an added advantage
- 3 - 4 years of experience in similar capacity
- Good communication skills in English and Sinhala
- Highly motivated, organized and team player
- Sound knowledge in MS office & BMS
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Age below 50 years
- Preferably a candidate from Rathnapura area
