MANAGER – INTERNAL AUDIT
Location - Head Office
As a Manager – Internal Audit, you will be responsible for leading and directing the internal audit function of the Company, managing the internal audit team to support long-term business objectives. You will design and implement audit strategies aligned with the organization’s strategic priorities to enhance the control environment and corporate governance. The selected candidate will be reporting directly to the Chief Internal Auditor and joining a team of experienced audit staff in the field of Non-Banking and Finance Industry. The Job Role
- Lead & direct internal audit functions of the Company and manage internal audit team in order to realize enduring business objectives, design internal audit strategies in line with organization's strategic priorities and to strengthen the control environment and corporate governance practices.
- Prepare annual audit action plan based on direction of audit committee and Board covering potential risk areas of all strategic business units.
- Perform internal audit & special assignments including investigations and to recommend remedial action that provides practical business solutions.
- Take measure to interpret audit findings and communicate with relevant stakeholders to take required corrective action.
- Provide necessary consultative guideline to the management.
Experience / Qualifications / Skills
- Associate member of CA Sri Lanka/CIMA/ACCA and Minimum of 5 years in post qualified Audit experience in a managerial grade in a Bank or a Financial Institution/ a reputed Audit Firm or a candidate with suitable academic and professional background and Minimum 8 years audit experience in managerial grade in a Finance.
- Exceptional auditing & decision making skills.
- Sound analytical & critical thinking skills.
- Professional writing & presentation skills. Understanding of computer related auditing.
- Outstanding people management & team building skills.
