Assistant Manager - Product Development Department to lead our efforts in crafting cutting-edge, high-quality footwear for our up-market clientele. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Product Development team to ensure timely development of new footwear designs.
- Oversee the entire product development cycle from concept to final production, ensuring adherence to design, quality, and budgetary guidelines.
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and production teams to create innovative, market-relevant footwear.
- Manage material sourcing and cost optimization in product development.
- Manage and mentor the product development team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Product Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in footwear product development or a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of footwear design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage a team and multiple projects.
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, CAD) and project management tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage product development cycles effectively.
- Knowledge of local and international footwear trends and market dynamics.
