WE ARE LOOKING FOR
SCIENCE LABORATORY ASSISTANT/ IN-CHARGE
HEAD OFFICE - COLOMBO

ANC currently provides fully comprehensive and accredited American, Australian and UK undergraduate & postgraduate educational programmes in Sri Lanka.
We are looking for a young and dynamic individual to join academia at Head Office (Colombo).
The successful candidate must be friendly and persuasive. You must be able to liaise with students, parents and ANC Academic / Non Academic teams to give the expected outcome of the job role. The ideal candidate will also be patient and cool-tempered to deal with aggressiveness and complaints. The goal is to improve the student satisfaction rate towards ANC with the student retention rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, setup, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and materials.
- Support practical sessions for science-related modules.
- Ensure laboratory safety and cleanliness at all times.
- Maintain accurate inventory and records of laboratory supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with academic staff to support the delivery of quality science education.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Successfully completed G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) in the Science Stream.
- G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) with a strong science background.
- Previous experience working as a Laboratory Assistant is preferred.
- A Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Science is an added advantage.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
