Executive – Procurement Research & Support Analyst
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct market research on marine fuels procurement to assess risks, opportunities, and strategic outcomes.
- Perform competitor analysis and monitor industry trends to inform procurement and trading strategies.
- Analyze market forecasts and recommend improvements to procurement and trading processes.
- Assist in preparing and managing procurement documentation, including contracts and shipping documents.
- Support banking-related processes such as opening Letters of Credit (LCs) and liaising with financial institutions.
- Support the development of KPIs and performance metrics for procurement activities.
- Provide backup support to bunker traders during peak periods or absences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, and legal to ensure smooth execution of activities.
Candidate Profile
- Three passes at the GCE A/Levels.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Economics/Logistics or an equivalent qualification such as CIMA.
- 2 years of experience as an analyst in a similar company or related field.
- Critical thinking skills with the ability to independently solve problems with data.
- Commercial awareness with a professional approach to work, integrity, and respect for ethics.
