Senior HR Executive (Talent Acquisition & Engagement)

Location: Colombo
Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for multiple functions, ensuring timely hiring aligned with business needs.
Collaborate with hiring managers to forecast workforce requirements and craft compelling job descriptions.
Use industry-specific sourcing strategies to attract qualified professionals with insurance expertise.
Maintain a strong pipeline of talent for critical roles, using proactive outreach, headhunting, and networking.
Represent the company at job fairs, industry events, and university collaborations to attract young professionals.
Promote the employer brand through digital platforms, employee testimonials, and internal storytelling.
Track key hiring metrics such as cost-per-hire, time-to-fill, and candidate satisfaction to drive continuous improvement.
Assist in developing and implementing programs that reinforce the organization’s values, culture, and employee engagement.
Organize team-building initiatives, onboarding experiences, and cross-functional collaboration events.
Gather employee feedback through surveys and informal channels; provide recommendations for enhancing workplace satisfaction.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–5 years of hands-on HR experience, with a strong focus on recruitment in the insurance or financial services sector.
Familiarity with the functional roles and talent landscape specific to life/general insurance operations.
Experience with recruitment tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms) and HR analytics.
Demonstrated success in building talent pipelines and reducing hiring lead times.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
Exposure to or interest in employee engagement, culture-building, and employer branding is a plus.
