VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT: ENGLISH TEACHER | PHYSICS TEACHER | SPORTS COORDINATOR
We are seeking qualified, passionate, and self-driven professionals to join our academic team in the following roles:
1. English Teacher (Cambridge & National Curriculum)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons to secondary school students following the Cambridge Curriculum and National Curriculum.
- Prepare students for internal and external exams such as IGCSE / AS Level and National O/L as well.
- Develop and implement lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials aligned with curriculum standards.
- Foster a stimulating learning environment that promotes critical thinking and language development.
- Track student progress, provide feedback, and support academic growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Cambridge / National curriculum in a school setup.
- Strong command of English (spoken and written).
- Familiarity with IGCSE English First Language & Literature and National exam formats.
- Effective classroom management and interpersonal skills.
2. Physics Teacher (National Curriculum)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Physics lessons to secondary students per the National Curriculum.
- Use effective teaching methods to ensure conceptual clarity and scientific understanding.
- Prepare students for national exams with a focus on both theory and practical application.
- Create lesson plans and assessments that meet academic standards.
- Monitor student achievement and provide academic support as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Physical Science, or a related discipline (B.Ed. preferred).
- Minimum 2 years’ teaching experience in National Curriculum in a school setup.
- Competence in managing laboratory experiments safely and effectively.
- Strong communication and classroom control skills.
3. Sports Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct PE lessons for various student age groups, encouraging fitness and teamwork.
- Organize school sports activities, tournaments, and inter-school competitions.
- Promote inclusive participation and support students’ physical development.
- Maintain sports equipment and collaborate with teachers, parents, and coaches to enhance the sports program.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related area.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in PE instruction or sports coordination in a school.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.
- First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Commitment to student safety and wellbeing.
General Criteria for All Applicants:
- Must be below 60 years of age for teaching roles (below 40 years for Sports Coordinator).
- Must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- A commitment to excellence and student development is essential.
