Job Summary
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Expert to strengthen our IT security posture and protect our systems from threats. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing networks, conducting security assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role requires deep expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and proactive threat mitigation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Security Strategy & Implementation:
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Implement security measures to protect networks, applications, and data.
- Monitor and respond to cybersecurity incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Threat Detection & Incident Response:
- Perform real-time threat monitoring and analysis using SIEM tools.
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
- Investigate security breaches and provide root-cause analysis.
- Network & Endpoint Security:
- Manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint security solutions.
- Implement multi-factor authentication (MFA) and access controls.
- Ensure secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with SOC2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and other security standards.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
- Implement data loss prevention (DLP) and encryption techniques.
- Security Awareness & Training:
- Train employees on cybersecurity best practices and phishing awareness.
- Develop and enforce policies related to secure IT operations.
- Stay updated with the latest security threats and mitigation techniques.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years in IT security, penetration testing, or risk management.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
- Experience with ethical hacking, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning.
- Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, SOC2, HIPAA).
- Expertise in cloud security for AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
- Certifications (Preferred but not required):
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- CompTIA Security+ or CySA+
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
