BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying and creating new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and assisting the company in expanding its market presence. The Business Development Executive works closely with the Business Development Manager and sales team to support lead generation, sales strategies, and client acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining good understanding of company products and services as well as business position and competitiveness in the industry.
  • Generating new business opportunities by meeting potential clients to understand their needs and providing relevant solutions.
  • Maintaining meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained.
  • Assisting the marketing department with promotional projects.
  • Arranging and attending for industry related events such as seminars, conference, events and exhibitions to build business's profile and network.
  • Identifying and researching opportunities that come up in new and existing markets.
  • Researching and identifying potential clients, market trends, and new business opportunities.
  • Maintaining and updating sales, marketing and business development reports.
  • Assisting in training business development staff and identifying the areas to be improved.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and networks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented approach.
