Production Executive / Supervisor - Kaluthara
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a background in chemical or process engineering, and a proven track record in supervising plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the Ammonia and Acetylene plants to ensure smooth and efficient functioning, and be responsible for lab testing.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Monitor plant performance and optimize operational processes to maximize productivity.
- Lead, train, and manage plant operators and technicians, ensuring their skills are up to date.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain proper documentation of plant activities, including reports and logs.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to schedule regular plant maintenance.
Applicant should be
- Diploma, NVQ Level 4, or a degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in plant supervision, particularly in chemical processing plants.
- Strong understanding of plant operations, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to solve complex problems and make quick decisions under pressure.
